ParticipantEVIL!!!!!!!!!! How often do you use the outside shower?? NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Those things fracture and can destroy your coach with water damage. Always thought it would be nice at the beach etc.. for sandy feet but you still have to walk inside so you step in the sand anyway!!! That does indeed come off a T junction riser. I disconnected mine and installed a PVC plug. The plastic trap door only lasts a few years. So when at beach with wife and kiddies I fill a plastic dishpan with water for feet at the door.
If you leave the hot side on and turn it off at the wand it will not allow the coach to get hot water.
Mine started dripping when it was 2 years old and I tightened it. Didnt use and a year later drip drip drip again. So no more!!!!June 27, 2016 at 11:36 am #1669Pippi
KeymasterLOL, You must be referring to this video:
I actually got a lot of use out of mine. I’d use it almost daily to fill up Andiamo’s outside water dish. But more recently, I’ve started only using distilled water so I haven’t used it for about a month. I also water my flower pots with it. I can see how it could be seen as useless in the scenarios you experienced but it’s certainly useful in many other situations and circumstances.
Sorry to hear you had so much trouble with yours. I’m glad it’s fixed now! Nice idea with the PVC plug.
Happy trails!
