ParticipantHi Pippi! My husband and I love your videos. When circumstance caused us to look at full time RV’ing, we began to look at YouTube for info. We have a top five list of varied channels and you are on it. Your fresh face and can-do attitude were so helpful and soothing to beginners like us. Thank you! We began to feel like we could pull this off, too, and then RV fever hit! We planned a solar and wind based power setup and six months later, we’re living in it. It isn’t like we planned, but it is great. I can’t imagine a better way to live. We have lots of work to do as we learn and gear up to go boondocking. Enjoy!

ParticipantSolar and wind are a great way to be self sufficient on the road. I will be adding a new wind generator this summer…

KeymasterYeah, I’m planning on adding solar this year, too. I’m pretty excited about it. I’ll be making my own panels. Stay tuned for that video! 😀

ParticipantBe sure to look at Handy Bob’s site before you go out and get it done. There’s a lot off good info there so we can make informed decisions.
My plan is Solar by Spring. What does help a lot though is that I use a Power Inverter(right now) for my AC needs like the computer. I only need to run my Genny occasionally to juice up the sixers(6 volt battery bank).February 6, 2015 at 7:29 am #471scootertrash
